Our secret hideaway and quirky holiday homes with boats make the perfect place for you, your loved ones and your friends to make the space to create magical memories and escape the everyday. You can bring the river to life with our waterside accommodation. Floating and nestling on the Broads National park in the Suffolk market town of Beccles, where people and nature coexist seamlessly on the beautiful River Waveney.

At Hippersons Boatyard, we offer a range of self-catering family-friendly accommodations, which provide beautiful views of the river Waveney, allowing you to sit and watch the river world go by, whilst catching up with each other’s stories. You can make more stories together through shared experiences on the river, using your own private rowing boat, or adding a SUP lesson or a guided canoe tour. If you are looking to explore and fish at local spots along the river, we are the perfect spot for your fishing holidays. Each accommodation has a private rowing boat for your exclusive use, berthed in the small dinghy park and allocated to you on arrival. Private parking is available, yours will be named after your chosen hideaway, and trollies are provided to push your luggage with ease.

If you want a hamper full of local goodies, our local cafe Relish are happy to make them to order. Time out from cooking? - treat yourself and indulge in some local tastes with many award wining flavours nearby, from Neapolitan pizza, full English roasts and amazing cakes and treats all on your holiday doorstep.

If you who want to get out and about and explore then we offer self drive day launch hire, guided canoe tours, rental day boats and SUP lessons. Guests also bring their own with them, just make sure your licence covers you for the Broads (Paddle UK is good). If you want to try something totally different our pedal boat for two is a wonderful way to see the wildlife. All experiences are available Tuesday to Saturday.
