Hippersons boatyard is a unique, self catering, holiday destination in Beccles, with Quirky Houseboats and Secret Glamping hideaways floating on the Broads National park. A place to have fun with all the family, and a romantic getaway from it all escape. Life is not a dress rehearsal and everyone deserves time out with loved ones, making memories through fun and adventure, on and around the river.
There are many experiences provided on site to help you explore the Waveney Valley by Water and land :- Electric Day-boats (your boat for a day), Canoes and Kayaks, Stand Up Paddle boards (SUPs), Guided Paddle tours and a pedal boat. If you are staying for a few nights with us, why not take the stress out of planning your break. Add a “Sparrows and Amazons” package and you will have fun bringing the river to life.

We are thrilled that this year we have been awarded Visit England Gold for all our glamping accommodation, and have also received a trip advisor Customer Excellence award for being in the top 10% of hotels in the world for the second year running.

Hippersons is also a working boatyard, and you will see watercraft come and go, and if you have an interest in boats, Simon and Stephen are happy to chat to you about them. They might even have a project in the yard to show you.
